If you received a business card, please use the contact information on the card to get in touch with us – we’d love to hear from you!
2. I’d like to become a model – how do I do that?
We take on talent 5 years and up. If you are under 18, you will need a parent or guardian to reach out on your behalf and attend all meetings with you.
For women, industry standard height is between 5’8″ and 6’1″. Petite modeling height is between 5’2″ and 5’6″.
For men, industry standard height is between 5’11” and 6’3″.
If you would like to submit, please include your age, height, and a few pictures (candid or professional) of yourself.
3. Are there fees to sign with SCI?
There are no fees associated with management representation. We do require modeling talent to have some form of training and a portfolio before we can market them properly. Agencies and clients expect us to deliver talent that is ready to work and with pictures they can use to market talent to their own clients.
Modeling and acting can be a divey industry to work in and we prefer our models shoot with professional photographers. However, if models prefer not to shoot with our photographers or train with Scott , they are welcome to go to whomever they please.
For actors, we expect they will be practicing consistently, whether in acting or improv classes from reputable schools or with a private teacher.
4. Am I going to make a lot of money from modeling?
If you are looking for a quick way to make money, modeling is not the answer!! Most models work part-time and are in school or have other work to support themselves, seeing modeling as a fun extra thing they do when opportunities arise. Modeling is a fickle industry and is a long-term investment, not a short-term one. Despite how it may look, modeling is hard work and most do not have the sticktuitiveness to wait out the slow start, let alone the dedication it takes to make it big. It is only in the upper echelons of fashion where models are working full-time and being paid accordingly.
